This Orienteering activity is the perfect end of year activity that allows your students to practice their mapping skills while working cooperatively with others (or alone!) and moving their bodies. And to top it off, it's Christmas themed to celebrate how close you are to the end of term!
 
What's included?
- 16 control marker templates with different words
- Differentiated levels (5, 6, 7 and 8 letter words)
- Control cards for students to write on
- Editable templates so you can create your own!
 
How does it work?
1. HIDE control markers around school
2. MARK where they are on the map
3. PUT students into pairs or groups
4. HAND out maps
5. Students FIND control markers,
6. WRITE them down on control cards and UNJUMBLE the letters to make a word!
7. FIRST pair or group to have the correct secret word WINS!
